How to Change Your Password

SMB Sales Boost uses Supabase authentication, which supports both email/password login and Google OAuth. The password change process depends on your sign-up method.

For Email/Password Users

Reset via Login Page

  1. Go to the login page at /auth
  2. Click "Forgot Password" below the login form
  3. Enter your email address — the one associated with your account
  4. Check your inbox for a password reset email from SMB Sales Boost
  5. Click the reset link in the email
  6. Enter your new password — choose a strong, unique password
  7. Confirm your new password and submit
  8. Log in with your new password

For Google OAuth Users

If you signed up using Sign in with Google, your password is managed by Google:

  1. Go to myaccount.google.com
  2. Navigate to Security > Signing in to Google > Password
  3. Follow Google's password change process
  4. Your SMB Sales Boost login will use the updated Google credentials automatically

Setting a Password for Google OAuth Accounts

If you signed up with Google but want to add a password for email/password login:

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click "Forgot Password"
  3. Enter the email address associated with your Google account
  4. Follow the reset link to set a password
  5. You can now log in with either Google OAuth or email/password
